With George Clooney as Batman, Chris O'Donnell as Robin, Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze, Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy and some no-name guy as the muscle-bound villain Bane, how the hell are they gonna have any room left to tell a story? That's a question worthy of the Riddler. Surprisingly, though, this one is pretty democratic, giving each actor a little slice of storyline to play with. B&R looks less like a comic book and more like the most flamboyant Broadway musical ever produced, but it's more interesting than Batman Forever.
