I'm gonna tell you some stuff about this movie, then I'm gonna make you a deal, all right? This is one of the coolest Martial Arts movies I've seen in a long time. A super-tough swordsman named Snowy White gets a message from Eagle, another great swordsman. They meet to battle the evil Weirdo gang (I swear!), but there's one hitch: As Snowy puts it, "Eagle is my best friend ... and my worst enemy." Y'see, Snowy cut Eagle's arm off in a battle, and Eagle has sworn to kill Snowy, so he must protect his enemy at all costs until he himself can kill him. Are you with me? So they team up with some other folks and go up against this Weirdo gang, whose M.O. is to drain people's blood, then this cute girl with silver fingernails drinks it. Now, this is where I started to get lost, but it didn't matter 'cause the movie's so cool. Anyway, a "hunchbacked weirdo"--who is not a member of the Weirdo gang--helps our heroes, because he likes one of the girls. Meanwhile, some other bad guys show up, but I don't know what their deal was. My problem is that everyone in this movie looks like someone else, and they all have similar beefs with each other, so when somebody got killed, I'd go "Aw no, not that guy," and then moments later realize it wasn't that guy at all. So here's my deal: Watch this movie, we'll get together for coffee, then you tell me what was going on. Recommended. (Ocean Shores Video)
