Return of the Street Fighter

Sonny Chiba is back as Terry Tsurugi, makin' weird sex faces and beating the crap out of everyone--men, women, buildings, you name it. This time, Sonny gets hired by a Japanese mobster to silence a guy before he can squeal to the cops. The Chiba-reeno gets himself arrested, and once he's in the police station, he kicks through a door and silences the guy, all right--by ripping the poor sap's vocal cords out! Later, during his workout, Sonny's freaky hippie-chick sidekick says, "I love Americans--they taught me how to groove!" The mob boss, although pleased with Sonny's work, decides he "knows too much" and has to be killed. And you know what that means--ass-kicking. In fact, this movie contains more ass-kicking than you'll know what to do with. Bad boy Chiba knocks a guy's eyes out of his head, beats up cops, whales on some kung fu badasses outside a ski lodge, shoots a few people and even manages to get a little lovin' in (before he has to kick the girl's ass as well). Available on VHS and a beautiful widescreen laserdisc (from Image Entertainment). (New Line Home Video)
