Santo vs. the Zombies

Weekly Alibi

The fabulous Lorena Velasquez plays the daughter of a famous professor who disappears while doing research on voodoo rites. After a series of crimes are pulled by chunky, Shemp-haired zombies, Lorena's cop boyfriend (all the women in wrestling movies date cops) decides he needs some outside help and calls on El Santo. The cop takes Lorena to see the Man in the Silver Mask and his unnamed, unmasked tag-team partner kick a little crap out of some fellas in the squared circle, but Lorena is dubious ("Is this the one who's going to help my father? A ... awrestler?"). The cop assures her that El Santo is A-Number One ("He's not only a wrestler, he's kind of a crimefighter"). The zombie crooks are being controlled by a hooded bad guy, who Santo peeps on by using his super-spy TV (apparently Santo has cameras planted everywhere, so watch out!). The zombie overlord commands his minions to kidnap children from a nearby orphanage, and El Santo can take it no longer! He interrupts the zombies in the act and beats them up. After more fights in people's bathrooms and a ramalamalicious voodoo dance number, Santo tracks the bad guy to his lair, where justice is meted out. God, how I love Santo movies.
